Sunny beach - INFO

Sunny Beach is the biggest resort in Bulgaria. It is located in a crescent shaped bay between the town of Nessebar and the resort of St. Vlas. Hundreds of hotels, numerous restaurants and shops,developed infrastructure of the resort allow meeting several hundred thousand tourists a year.

The climate is characterized by a hot sunny summer with average temperatures in July of 28-30°C. The beach has a length of more than 8 km, in some places its width exceeds 60 m. Fine sand, natural sand dunes and smooth seabed attract tourists from all over the world. In 2011 the beach of Sunny Beach was awarded the Blue Flag (the reward for the cleanliness of the environment).

The possibilities for accommodation are very diverse: there are luxurious five-star complexes, hotels of different categories, villas, guest houses, apart-hotels. Hundreds of restaurants and eateries offer a variety of dishes of Bulgarian and international cuisines.

The resort offers tourists a lot of entertainment: water sports, surfing, beach volleyball, aquaparks, bowling, children's playgrounds.

Sunny Beach has become one of the largest places in the country, offering excellent conditions for conferences and business tourism. Large hotels have conference rooms and related amenities for these purposes.

Near the resortthereis the ancient city of Nessebar, included in the list of cultural heritage of UNESCO due to the numerous monuments of culture. In the neighboring resort of St. Vlas there is the biggest yacht port on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
